We had lunch at the rifle range today, but rain and distant thunder kept us from firing. The was disappointing for some of the scouts. Earlier many did the part of swimming merit badge where street clothes are used for inflation. This produced many sets of wet jeans, but ASM Andy Rivera relieved the boys of that issue by throwing them in the wash with his son’s laundry in town; his son, a 380 Eagle Scout, is on the camp staff.
Several scouts got a little more time at the troop site today, which meant time to work on handicraft projects, lashing and general scoutcraft.
A Little More Rain, But Fun
